When Pope Francis opened the Holy Door of Saint Peter’s Basilica on Christmas Eve 2024, the 2025 Jubilee of Hope officially began. “During the Holy Year may the light of Christian hope illumine every man and woman, as a message of God’s love addressed to all,” the Holy Father said. “And may the Church bear faithful witness to this message in every part of the world!”

The friars have a thriving prison ministry. Mass or confessions are held on alternating weeks. The friars also offer adoration weekly and RCIA. There are 15 to 20 music/liturgical ministers and usually get about 70 men for Mass weekly, and usually a full docket of 15 to 18 confessions a session.
